In Kemah off of Toddville Road on the opposite side of the Boardwalk is the only place I know that is excess able to wading the Kemah flats.

That is a nice set up for your kayak. Looks like you can sit on either side of the yak with no problems. What kind of yak is this?

I went for the 1st time back in the end of June 2014 and we had a blast. Make sure you follow the speed limit when you get down there if you drive anywhere down there. Lots of speed traps. You could go to Powderhorn Lake in Indianola. This place is perfect for kayaks and plenty of flats with shell bottom. We were there at the end of March and did alright with the reds. Good luck.....

I use one of those foldable tables from Walmart with the adjustable legs. It is the one that has a 2X4 surface and with the legs fully extended is about 4.5 feet high to clean fish. Like I tell the guys at work....Fish don't care if it raining....we caught some fish on a day that had storms coming and going from the gulf. Thanks for posting my report here as well Ken. We had a great time.

Try having a mullet jump out of the water (when it is still dark) and hit you in the back!!!! :shock: :lol: :lol: I just got a visual of what that would look like, too funny!, Dude they hurt...they come out of the water like a torpedo. Those are one of them Redfish Spook Jr. Black dot on tail and a set of eyes. One of my go to tops in that particular area.
