Re: Perception Pescador Pro 120 or Acsend FS12T ?

I have the Pescador Pro 12 and love it. Tracks well, moves pretty quickly, roomy, and the seat is very comfortable.

Re: Slayer Propel 10?

Thanks Michang. Somehow I missed your posts in May. Do you car top your kayak? If so, how is that going? Have you had any issues with durability? Some early user reviews commented on easy scratching and wear. Reviewers thought the plastic was thinner than the slayer 13.

Slayer Propel 10?

Do any of you guys own this boat or have any experience with it? There are relatively few reviews online.

Re: OK Scrambler 11- Rudder Install

I have an OK Scrambler 11 (unsure of the year). Picture attached. My question is: Does anyone have experience with custom installing a rudder system for this type or similar kayak? The kayak is not made for accepting a rudder, but was curious to see if someone has tried to anyways. Is it possible? ...

Re: Harbor Freight Trailer Question

Also, it seems like all the modifications I find online of this trailer involves welding. I don't have any buddies that weld or any other access to a welding machine. Are there good modifications of the trailer that don't involve welding? Thanks.

Re: Harbor Freight Trailer Question

I bought new and modified the smallest one with 8" tires by extending the tongue and adding a box. It worked just fine and I routinely would run it 65-75 mph for up to 2 hours at a time. They actually have grease zircs on the inside of the hub so you can add to them if needed. Note-these are s...

Re: Taking the Kids (first time)

I've camped with small kids a lot. I highly recommend cooking. You can get them to help prepare, cook, and clean up. It's a good bonding experience. And like the man said a camp breakfast is great. My kids love pancakes and bacon while camping. Plus cooking provides something to do around camp. It c...
