Yesterday evening 3 Bass at 1 1/2lbs. each. This morning 11 Bass...from 2lbs. to 1/2lb. they were inhaling top water. First beer in hand at 9:50 a.m. I think I will just lay up and absorb cold ones for the rest of the day. I'm supposed to be on vacation but I feel like someone has beat me with a pie...

Re: Lake Sam rayburn
Nice fish, what part of the lake were you fishing? I'm fishing out of Powell Park. Not because of the fishing but they have good cabins. I caught 9 total this morning. 7 in the yak and 2 that threw the hook at the boat. 2 were at 2lbs. and the rest was under. After yesterday evening I had enough fi...

Never owned one before so really was in the dark. Went with the reviews. Before you spend 500 bucks on one of ...

Is that new modular rod pod for the trident for sale anywhere? I didn't see it on the oceankayak website as an accessory.

Re: Anyone fish Sam Rayburn lately?
I just came home from Sam Rayburn this morning. Fished in Kayak 3 days. The East S.E. wind was constant during daylight hours until late in the evening. My arms and shoulders and back feel it too. Fish with top water at the crack of daylight. Then switch over to watermelon red plastics over the hydr...

Re: Newbie Paddle Question
I believe what you are talking about is known as a paddle that reduces the "TWIST" of the paddle shaft. The asymmetrical paddle is designed to help equal out the amount of water on each side of the paddle during the power stroke. Try doing a 180 on the paddle and see if it feels different.
