I have had the worst luck streak or just forgot how to fish lol.
I have fished Bessie heights, Sabine Lake, Sabine Pass, Baytown and trinity bay and the best thing to show for the last month is a 19 inch red. Have they moved into the marshes or am I just bad?

I don't think the spawn has started here from what I have seen and caught. Been pretty average sizes. Sometimes if its warmer it won't start until November. Gonna hit up the marsh a few times this week. Hopefully it starts soon!

What time are you thinking of going I was pondering over it.

I like using these for bait every once and a while. Is there anywhere around here yall catch them Sabiki/traps. I catch a couple here and there but not enough.

I plan on going to TB as long as it's not too bad early Saturday.

Always use some kind of tape I use electric tape. If the spool ends up getting wet from paddling or whatnot it will slip and makes for aggravating retrievals lol.

Thinking of heading out tomorrow if the weather isn't too bad. Just wanted to see if anyone else was thinking of going out.
