And like Mac said... look for sign ...bait, birds, slicks... but it will take a while to learn all there is to fish like that but in the end you'll be catching more and larger fish for sure... That's why we made the TroutSupport.com DVD's... cut down on the sometimes several year learning curve. Im...

Re: Jack Crevalle Fishing
Im liking these feed back! But, I actually heard a good recipe! Cut them up how ever you want too, season them up how ever you please, get one of those cedar plank bbq things and then cook the fish on the plank for about 15 minutes until a golden brown. Then eat the plank.

Re: Need tips!
Don't fish "spots", look for signs of feeding fish and high percentage areas that should hold fish because of tide movement, bait and watch the birds. Looking for the deepest water in a back lake or bay is not always the answer. Fish eat bait and bait eats plankton and other crap that is ...

Re: Need tips!
The gut to the right (east of Ernies) should be good for flounder but you'll need to specifically fish the bottom. Cast a 1/4 oz jig upcurrent and work it back to you with the current. There is lot's of oyster in Christmas, usually can find some fish around the oyster. Yes, Christmas is seasonal......
