Recovering from the covid virus I figure that fishing is best therapy. The last two weeks I have been both in the kayak & wade fishing.
It's been a hard grind skunks & dinks..high winds, rough water, chocolate water, heavy fishing pressure, & worse inconsiderate air boats.
Monitoring tide charts, wind, barometers. Payday this evening. Using a 4 inch shad lure, sun set, hard to see.
One more cast before calling an evening. Slowed the lure down to barely a crawl and this latches on for a ride..20 plus

Re: Grinding it out
That last cast result is why we pay our dues, and you kept at it.
I'll take high winds over summer doldrums any day. You can always plan a good drift if you have wind and a drift sock.
Thanks for the report.
picked this photo because Neumie and I were on East flats at 18 kt NNW, and just setting up a new drift
