Yep, that was part of the rule change last year that bumped flounder up to 15" lengths. They were going to close it last year but delayed it 1 year due to the COVID impact on fishing guides.

I expect that 45-day Flounder closure will have ZERO effect on how many I catch, but who am I to question the great minds at Texas Dept. of Wildlife? My IQ is only 167, lol.
