RATTLING Crazy Croaker

Post by tidal surge »

I am working on a new rattling Crazy Croaker but need some input from some real fishermen or fisherwomen. I have made one Crazy Croaker with a VERY loud rattle but have found that if a good sized fish hits it the rattle is crushed. The other one is a slightly smaller rattle that is not as Loud but I have not had any problems with the rattle crushing. I did seem to catch more fish with the Louder Crazy Croaker but my question is this: Which one would fishermen prefer? The one that catches more fish but will have to buy more of or the one that catches slightly less fish but that keeps rattling fish after fish?

Can you make the rattle replaceable? Then you could include a replacement rattle with the lure, or sale replacements. Just a thought.

The rattle itself is inside the bait which is done during the manufacturing of the bait. So the plastic is injected around the bait. I do not push a rattle into the bait. It helps with the action of the bait also.

How about a px of the two rattles?

Why are they breaking? material? placement? size?

In that case, go with the one that catches more fish, I can always buy more lures and would be willing to if they work.

Yea, I don't think there is any question. Go with the one that catches more fish. We Spend thousands of dollars trying to catch fish and if this bait works I'm sure no one will mind spending a little extra for the big one that catches fish.

At times you can have too much of a good thing. Of course, I don't have a problem using them with out the rattles. AC

i would also go for the one that catches more fish i spent about 60.00
dollars on a trip to baffin bay on live croaker. and if your lure can
catch some fish why not have throw aways the only thing is being
viromental friendly. and iam pretty sure if you have a great product
people will buy. the one you have in the picture is my favorite color
to use i tear it up with that pacific colors. and to make it really rattle
the trout will tear them apart. good luck
