This is the earliest I've ever tagged my trophy buck and it's my best by a long shot to boot! I'm stoked. Now I have plenty of time for some fantastic fall fishing!

looks like a salt marsh buck - they don't look like that in the hill country

Thanks guys! I feel blessed to get this one. I feel like I've been hunting him for 25 yrs. He's a north Texas, Wise county, deer. Until about 3 yrs ago, we never saw deer like this on our place and then they just started showing up and every year they've gotten a little bigger. I love a thick gnarly racked buck!
