Anyone tried this lure?
I bought this lure at Academy the other day. It's a Jointed Sunfish lure made by "H2O EXPRESS." This one is "Tilapia" color. Not sure if this lure catches more fishermen than fish. I will be casting from my kayak for Bass and any other lurking species. Let me know if anyone has tried this lure.

I just found a post similar to this in the swimbaits section. Sorry I am fairly new to this site and still learning to navigate.

I have used the smaller one in the trout shape in rainbow trout color and have done quite well with the bass.
Good luck!

I like the H2O express version. They are way cheaper than their Tru-Tungsten counterparts. They do catch fish, but their components are not nearly as tough as the Tru-Tungsten variety. I don't trust the H2O brand for my tournaments YET, but man, it sure is nice to pay $7.00 for a swimbait rather than $30, $40, or $50 for one. PLus, swimbait fishing is not my strong suit. MY partner loves it, I am a crankbait man. Now where did I put those Lucky Craft cranks?

Tilapia, that would be great for the Reds on Fairfield, well, atleast when the fish kill isn't rearing it's ugly head.

el coyote-
I remember a time when the most expensive lure you would see would maybe be $5 bucks. Now they freakin lock these things up like they are diamonds. Thank God for Nightcrawlers and minnows.

I got one in the bluegill pattern. I have caught some bass on it. It has a great look in the water. I don't like that it sinks as fast as it does and that it makes a heck of a splash and racket when it's cast. It's not a very stealthy lure on entry. Other than that it's a pretty cool bait and a great value as far as swimbaits go.

Re: Anyone tried this lure?
I fished with the lure a little the other day on Lake Granbury. I think it would have casted easier on a lighter spincast and not my Abu Garcia Record reel on a medium heavy 7 foot baitcaster. I'll fish with it more in the future I'm sure. Thought it might produce while fishing boat docks. I have definietely become a fan of Crankbaits and Rattletraps though.
Re: Anyone tried this lure?
I'd be curious to know you thoughts and opinions of this lure after you fish with it a little more.
