Anyone fish Lake Granbury

Hey All.....

I've recently gained access to a house to stay on Lake Granbury. I was out there last weekend doing chores, cleaning up, mowing, etc.... I'd like to be invited back type of chores. I was able to get on the water once, but was created by incredibly stained water. I managed one small white.
I was told that the water, generally, is always this stained. Is this the case? I'd imagine with the recent rains over the last couple weeks, the bravos has managed to keep things pretty muddy, but I wouldn't expect it to be this stained at all times. Now, the home I have a place to crash at is far north on the lake, above Weatherford Hwy. Does the water improve below 377? I'm really not used to fishing waters this muddy/murky.
I'd prefer to chase whites and whatever Stripers I could find as well, but at this point, I'd like to just get into fish. Any experience out there is a great help... just looking for some starting points, not your GPS coordinates. Thanks in advance.
