Bud Priddy Tournament Report

Mike Davis and I represented Central Texas Fly Fishers at the Bud Priddy Fly Fishing Tournament last Saturday.

The Nueces River was beautiful and full of fish, and we had a great time.

Mike and I caught tons of colorful fish, reconnected with some of our old fishing buddies, and made some new friends.

Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing was well represented, with Dave Gill and Nick Scarpinato hosting a silent auction as a fund raiser for the San Antonio program.

Fifty three fly fishers, men and women, from eight different clubs and organizations participated in this 22nd annual fly fishing classic.

Alamo Fly Fishers past president, Walter Ross, took the reigns on organizing the tournament, and another fall event is in the works and will be announced this summer.
