Got a mess of these guys some bigger some smaller all cool as all get out. Actually caught some that would have been big enough for the stringer but most were guarding nests with fry in them from hordes of bass fingerlings. Also caught some bigger bass which was surprising for water that barley covered my ankles. The one in the photo got targeted in water even shallower mainly because I saw his tail finning away near the bank. Thanks to Ron and others for gave advice.

I need to make it over there sometime!
