How to fly fish the Texas hill country

Post by Kayak buddy »

I was asked to do this by my followers on social media, I did the best I could. But if your new to fishing Texas Hillcountry Rivers this may help you. I use words in the videos to describe structure as I see them. So pay attention to the labelling.

when I took Kevin Townsend out on an August day for a KT Diaries episode on endemic bass,
I knew to find fish stacked in the deep chutes
we each caught a half-dozen from this deep fast drop

another half dozen for me here

Took my dad down from Center Point Turtle Creek crossing one day, fishing only the chutes, and he counted 200 endemic bass I released.
