Barry I like the one about the basic skills.Every aspireing tier or caster should follow his advice.It's like paying your dues.

IMO, Al Campbell is one of the most talented, all around fly fisherman that write at this time. He is a he** of a good fly tier/instructor, builds beautiful rods and does a great job of writing about the outdoors. I'm glad you liked his article.
