OK, so now I also have a Dr. Slick fly tier kit. Now I need a good fly tying instruction book...

Some of the best instruction I have found is at Fly Anglers On Line. They have a very good beginner series of lessons that will take you through the very basics to any level you want. There are also links to each step illustrated. Very good site.

I really think you will like the new vise and tools.

I definitely agree with Fishin'. That is a good web-site. They also have a good collection of archived fly patterns in their fly of the month section that I have used when I needed help finding a fly I was unfamiliar with.

Another good site is Saltwater Fly Tying. There are some good lessons on there. Here is a link.

There is also a very good lesson on working with epoxies on the same site for anyone wanting to use epoxy.
