CAJUN STYLE SHRIMP BROIL

Post by muley09 »

Hey Guys What it do!?
To all you cajun freaks out there....
Last weekend I went to a shrimp broil at one of my boss' friend's house. First off, I love seafood, but this was some of the best I had ever tasted. I even mentioned to another coworker (who was invited but didnt attend) how they did it and what was cooked. She is a New Orleans native and even she said "Wow, they must have really known what they were doing!"
The whole night I sat right by the cook, drinkin my Lone Star Light, and watching his every move. However, after about 10 LSL's my memory began to fade...lol.
I know they used small red potatos, suasage, cut corn on the cobb, and deveined shrimp. I also remember them throwin in lemons, and using the flavored tea bags for the cajun spicy taste.
Can you guys help me with any recipes or hints or tips? I am hosting a broil tomorrow night at the casa. I will have about 20 people over and we will be watching the 'Boys in their new Stadium. I wanna make this a good night for everyone so any bit of advice will be greatly appreciated.
Ps. I like it reeeeeal spicy....

Here is a pic from last weekend...
