Hook1 carries a different version about 125 bucks I think. I like the fact this piece allows for organized storage including rods and nite lite. I think the yakpak at ack is cheaper closer to 100 bucks.

I really like the design....seems like perfection.

One thing I'd rather see is it made of that rubberized sea bag material. nHEavier that way maybe.... but it sure beats gettin saltwater in your gear AFAIC.

if you search on google it can be found for $82 for the lime green, i wonder if ACK would honor that price plus the TCK 15% off?

I've had my yakmate for about 18 months at a guess. I rate it as a great piece of kit. The early Mk3 version had 'stainless' drain eyelets which rusted like you wouldn't believe. After too many emails the problem was finally acknowledged and an updated Mk3 was shipped to me. This updated model had plastic drain holes, this is the one to go for!

Here's a review I did a while back.. http://saltwateryakfisherman.blogspot.c ... el/Yakmate

I purchased mine from http://www.histackleboxshop.com/Precisi ... te-iii.htm
