Fish finder?

Now that I have a lot of time on my hands, I need to choose a finder, want to keep it
low priced,, Garmin, Hummingbird, Lowerence, something below $100 in case I flip.
I have a Pescador 120 that I'd like to fit out. I read all the stuff about Chirp, sideward, V this and V that
I've tried to read all that I can find, but still don't understand. Any help out there,,, yes, I'm bored
