Need a WATERPROOF cover for my kayak
Need to store my kayak outside now, looking for recommendations for a good waterproof cover.
Re: Need a WATERPROOF cover for my kayak
I just sucked it up and bought a couple of these in sizes to fit my kayaks. I acknowledge that they won't last more than a season or 2, but not much (that's affordable) will hold up in the Texas sun. About a year in, under partial shade, they seem to be holding up okay. And for the price...
I stayed away from 100% waterproof because I wanted them to be able to breathe. I'm not a fan of mold and mildew. Mostly, I wanted to keep the kayaks from fading and degrading in the sun.

There are lots of different brands, and many sizes and color choices. Search "kayak cover" in Amazon or EBay. The local selection was pretty spotty and a lot more expensive.

Re: Need a WATERPROOF cover for my kayak
My experience with boat covers keeping the water from ponding/pooling is one of the biggest hurdles. You might consider placing a few 2x4's (or something similar) lengthwise over the kayak to help keep water from ponding on the boat cover.
