When do the sharks show up?

Hey guys i was just curious as to when yall start really going after sharks? This is the first time i’ve had opportunities to fish in may, because of this virus. I’ve heard different opinions that the fishing starts getting good around the end of may, and then some say not till july. Just wanted to see what the general opinion is cuz i’m ready to get back out there!!!

Im not much of a sharker, but they’ll be moving in soon. I usually hear most guys say May is when they move in.

They typically follow the food, so watch for reports of Kings, mackerel and jacks, as well as the bait(mullet, etc)

If you make your way to High Island, the sharks are starting to get good there. It only gets better as we head into May. When you are not catching a shark there this time of year, there will be a bull red hanging around. Get ya some!!
