Want to make my first btb journey Thursday morning. Been watching the weather and it looks nice. I need a partner! I’m a seasoned angler, just never been in the big blue by myself and as I understand, that’s dangerous. I have all the gear, but have never been after Kings or red snapper before. Wish I could make it Bill but I can't. I've noticed the last couple of days the surf forecasts all seem to be showing about the same- about 2-2.5 foot swells but in reality they've been about a foot higher. Also keep an eye on the low that is in the gulf heading towards the central Texas coast.
