Home made skiff

Post by troutboy »

Hello everyone new to this side. I was wondering if anyone could help me. I'm looking for a skiff boat i saw a pic in florida on this and was unable to find any contact information. What i saw was a canoe with a small motor, poling platform,casting platform big enough for 2 people. If anyone has any information were i can buy one or have one built for me will be great.
Thanks!
Tight lines!!!
Robbin..

Is this close to what you're looking for?

Flats Stalker 18 from Bateau...
http://www.bateau.com/studyplans/FS18_s ... ?prod=FS18" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Jem watercraft also offers a couple of gems...
Stalker
http://www.jemwatercraft.com/proddetail ... alker14-34" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Mini Skiff
http://www.jemwatercraft.com/proddetail ... iSkiffMini" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Skiff

Both companies have good reputations for quality of plans and building support.
These you can do yourself. Save some cash, have it exactly as you want, get a great sense of accomplishment and pride. And
it's fun!

If you really want to buy, look at Gheenoe

My next project will be a small skiff. Saw an article in a local fishing mag that used to be called Gulf Coast Connection.
