Very nice Ron...Is that rivets or what to secure the handle to the blade?

Thanks Preacher,
I was lucky enough to have a custom knife maker that was a friend of mine. He died when he was 32 but if he was still alive he would be well known. I watched him build some blanks do the flat grind and hollow grind so I had an ideal what I need to do .
yOU DO THEM ON A 8 INCH CONTACT WHEEL ON A BELT SANDER oR i DID THESE ON A 8 INCH ROCK.

Looks nice Ron, you going to start taking orders soon? :D

Though I have a considerable knife collection, including a number of them that I need to make handles for, I'm afraid that is going to be the extent of my abilities (shaping the scales) though I *wish* I was talented enough to make the knife blade too.

I enjoy reading about all of the different characteristics of the different steels, and sometimes wish I had majored in metallurgy in college :).
