So after my last trip with this Kayak, I had decided to change a few things on it. I've been slowly working on the known issues that I've read through all the reviews. The rear hatch was horribly designed so I replaced it with some luan plywood which I will later put a 6" twist and seal hatch and polyurethane the entire piece. My last trip, as you can read here. http://www.texaskayakfisherman.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=231334. I almost sunk this thing because of the rear hatch. There was never really no need for the large hatch so I filled it in and this is what I have so far. Notice the pontoons which are a work in progress. They're pretty much my take on the stand n fish systems design but with balsa wood.
