Colorado River Camp

Post by DNR »

Me and a friend are doing an overnighter the weekend of the 24th-25th.
Put-in at the FM973 bridge - camp on the Big Island - back to Garfield or Little Webberville Park.
About a 12 mile trip.
Mainly a fishing trip.

If anybody is interested, welcome to come along.

No, It should read "on down to Garfield".
The second day is only about 2 1/2 miles down river, so it won't be a long day Sun. But some real good fishing areas.
The shuttle is close and easy, won't be a prob.
Come on out.

Hey bclarkmsu - We'll make a plan.

If we launch around 8am or so it'll give us plenty of time for fishing. I expect the fishing to be good.
It's not too far from the island to the take out, I'd say take out around 1pm.

It'll be a fun trip.
I'll PM you my phone # later.

Hey Beve -
I think your right, this is the start of the good time of the year.
Not only bass but my favorite river fish to catch, big ol' Drums.

If you get a chance to get out there let me know.
