Camping @ Alma McHenry by Giddings?

My son and I are heading to Camp Alma McHenry, by Gidddings this weekend with his Webelos. Has anyone been there before? I am looking forward to this. I noticed that a few stock ponds aswell.

Holy Cow!! You and every other person from Capital Area! We drove by on our way back from dropping off my two 14yr old boys deer (2 boy, 2 deer) in Dime Box. What was going on there?, some sort of camporee?

Weather was great though, I hope you had a great weekend near my backyard.
