let's see what you can do Bobby
I'm looking for a work truck. F350 Diesel 4x4 crew cab. Must be old, ugly and cheap (let's keep BB out of this). Things that must work:
engine
trans
4x4
tires
windows
bonuses:
ac
radio
doors
I'm a wood worker and need a truck for getting mesquite trees. I prefer to just drive right up to the trees, so paint isn't a big concern because it will be gone soon enough. I'll keep this truck for a year and sell it and get another junker, that is if I don't drop a tree on it. Let me know what you can do. It's the end of the month and labor day weekend. Hope you get some crappy trade ins.
Anyone else that has something that might work is more than welcome to post up.
P.S. I have cash, just not a lot.

you want tires and windows? That's a pretty tall order. I'll shoot some pics of anything we get, and send them your way.

Technically yes they could be in the backseat. I guess I should have clarified that. Working windows.

Re: let's see what you can do Bobby
Found one. Wasn't exactly what I was looking for but had the major criteria covered.
1999 Chevy 3500 LS
454
automatic trans
4x4
Crew cab
windows (all 4 power windows work)
power locks
power seat
decent paint, some pealing but no dents, not even in the bed.
Ranch Hand front and rear
Tool box/fuel tank combo in bed
a/c
radio
doors
dually
124,000 miles
and most importantly $5500
First thing I did was put it to work.
Slingshot, you're the car guru what do you think?

That's a steal. Good find. Everything we have been getting is newer, and well north of 20 grand.
Re: let's see what you can do Bobby
Finding a good used truck is difficult but there are some food deals out there. I find it hard to take a $10k + truck through the brush like I'm going to do.
Thanks for keeping an eye for me.
