Lol Crazy Bass. Little piggy

I had a similar story. Fishing the San Marcos River and early in the morning had spoken with some other fisherman at the put-in. During the small talk we realized we use the same color scheme but a different lure. As they shoved off we thought we'd never see them again. Later that day my buddy caught an aggressive LMB with a lure in it's mouth exactly like what the fishermen had described, with about 1' of mono tied on to the lure. As we rounded the next corner the guys were sitting there fishing and had explained that they had just lost a nice bass and in the melee of landing the fish had flipped their boat and lost some lures and some cigarettes. Well, they seemed more concerned about cigarettes, so my buddy traded them 2 cigs (1 each) for the lure we found in the bass's mouth and told them the story of how we came upon the lure and knew it had to be there's. That lure went on to catch many more bass that day and now I also have a bag of them in my tackle box.
