Not a yak report but area is accessible by kayak. Took a fishing trip a few days ago. Started the day off in Mexiquita Flats drifting for Speckled trout. Managed a few trouts but all of them were undersized. After this we decided to head to South Bay. Our first stop did not produce anything. We proceeded to move to a wind blown shoreline and managed to catch 2 reds (1 slot, 1 rat) within 10 mins. of arriving there while wading in about 3ft of water. Then, the weather changed and the bite stopped. All the fish, but one undersized trout, were caught on TSL Grasswalkers. I attached a link to the video of our trip. Hope you all enjoy. God Bless.

great trip.
The deeper slopes of South Bay are good snook targets at crack of dawn - a guide put me on my first snook there 35 years ago.
