newbie legal question
Just got my first yak. To be legal I have to have a pfd, whistle and a light if fishing at night, anything else?

You need a knife and a 5 gallon bucket also. You always need a 5 gallon bucket.

Well, you should keep your knife attached to your pfd. At least that is what I do.
I just seem to always need a 5 gallon bucket. It was kind of a joke, but kinda not. I bet many on this board take some form of bucket with them.
Neither are required to be legal.
