Trinity River put-ins, Dallas

It looks like the city of Dallas will be creating a few more places where people can put in and take out in the Dallas area. They will be for canoes and kayaks only. There is one at the Sylvan Bridge park just north of downtown and another is in the first part of construction at the I 45 and loop 12/Ledbetter area. And another is planned to be created around I 20. I went and peaked at the site by loop 12 and it looks like a place with a decent area for take out. Not sure about how long it would take to get from Sylvan to 12, but it is maybe 10-12 miles as the crow flies. Should be pretty nice.

Use to be some good fishing in the lake to the right off of Loop 12 as u come from 45, don't know how it is now though.
