Supper tonight!

Post by Strider »

On the top left are 4 white bass fillets. To their right is the 6# longnose gar I caught yesterday (my favorite). Bottom is okra and yellow squash from my X wifes garden (no, I didn't steal it :)). I breaded all this stuff by hand - buttermilk and HEB seasoned frying flour...fried it in peanut oil (of course). I only eat fried food on Sunday. Maybe I should rename "Sunday" "Fryday" :D :D

No Ron, I will not marry you.

Looks delicious again Kim!

I've never had yellow squash fried. I like acorn squash but never cared for yellow squash, but maybe that's because I never tried it fried!

Looks great!

Gar are PITA to clean. If I sold that meat I'd charge $20/lb.

This is the way I do it. But not the way I cook it.

Ron,

A take on some of your comments at previous fish frys that I would make a good wife because of my culinary skills. :D
