HOW GATHERING JULY 7TH

This past Saturday HOW was blessed to be invited to the Frito Lay headquarters in Plano for a day of fishing and fun for our soldiers. We had lots of guys and gals there and everyone caught fish from the stocked and fed (with Frito's and Dorito's) lake. The lake was approximately 30 acres and full of LMB and catfish. Frito Lay's VALOR Team were our hosts and they laid out the red carpet. The day started at 7AM with breakfast while we unloaded yaks and fishing gear. Then everyone jumped in a yak and took off to the spot they thought was a honey hole.



And started catching fish...





A few of us volunteers even got a chance to catch a few.







One guy stood and fished all day in his new Big Tuna because "he could".





The Frito Lay folks had a mustache growing contest which raised $5400 for HOW.



It was a great day on the water. We pulled out shortly after lunch due to the excess heat but everyone had a great time.
It is truly an honor to be able to serve those who have served to protect us!!!
