stabilizers on the surf ?

anybody used their stabilizers on hobies or any other kayak heading out btb if so how good do they do while on the surf how do they handle surf do you still get tipped over just wondering thinking about getting some.

I wouldn't recommend it. Most people only launch their TIs/AIs from the beach in "IceCream" conditions. Extra stuff in the water makes it easier for the waves to push you around, making it harder to steer. Once you flip, it's going to be a b**** trying to get it upright.

X2 i would only use them once i was where i anchor up paddling with them is a capitol B and then take them off to paddle back in
