Oyster Lake Matagorda

Has anyone fished oyster lake on west Matagorda bay with any luck and how is the beach off the road are you able to drive on it with a 2 wheel drive truck? Thanks

If you are talking about the little shell beach that's right after the bridge then yes its fine for a 2wd.

I haven't fished Oyster in over a year. Its a spot that always has potential though. You just have to make the right choice for where to fish, what bait to use, and when to go. If you choose those three things correctly and there are fish there... you will catch fish.

Edit: Thought I'd add, I never did make a trip down there, always ended up elsewhere, so I have no personal experience with the area.
