New guy
Hello everyone.my name is Thomas and I live in san Antonio.looking to get second kayak soon.I had some bad things happen to me the last time I tryed this.don't like jetski after being hit by one.but I miss being on a kayak.lookin at tarpon 140 or ride 135
Re: New guy
From my research of kayaks and what not. The differences in your selection of kayaks varies so much. IMO that is, but that Tarpon is right up my alley. The ride seems just that, a ride/slab. Good luck to you and those PWC ha. Be safe and tight lines to you.

Trollinyak,
Welcome back to the water!
I'd say you should consider the your weight, the kind of water you plan to fish and the gear you're planning on bringing before you make a choice on a yak...
The Ride is super stable and you can stand pretty easy for fly fishing. The tarpon is narrower, but faster...
There are a lot of options.
Consider trying a few before making your choice...
There's a San Antonio chapter you should consider joining (TKFSA). Lots of good folks there...
God bless,
Doc S

Yes he was drunk but the game warden saw it all happen.he was given a dwi and went to jail.
It will be mostly coast(btb, marsh) but some big lakes too.I am a little guy 5.11 180.as far as gear I need room for the whole store.this will be my kayak for the next 5 years.

Welcome to the forum. Glad to have new members. Just an FYI I offer kayak lesson in the Rockport/Aransas pass area. Way to get back out there, stupid people on the water make it less fun for everyone.
