Moving back to San Antonio
Well 20 years of military service is in the bag and I am retiring back to San Antonio! Would love to meet up with some of yall to make friends and learn where to fish in the two power plant lakes. Haven't fished much here in San Angelo but hope to do a lot more of it now that I'm retired.

Re: Moving back to San Antonio
Thanks everyone! Really excited to not have to make the three drive from San Angelo every other weekend.
Doc S - the wife and I hope we get a chance to meet you and your wife. Would love to talk a bit what the wives went through and compare notes. Maybe do a a race next year.

Sounds good!
I finally got her in a kayak!
I never thought I'd see the day!
I got her on the big tuna, but she tried a friend's sit in yak and liked it better, so I'm selling the tuna and getting her a sit in yak!
She has a friend who encouraged her (she listened to her because she's a woman) and we went again on Saturday...
We definitely need to get together. Maybe over some grub!
God bless,
Doc S

Congrats on calling it a career and thank you for your service. I retired almost 12 years ago myself...wow! 12 years ago! Crap, time flies.
Anyway, welcome home. I don't do much fresh water fishing but I head down to Rockport (keep the camper there) every chance I get. Maybe we can set something up one day. I keep a Kayak down at the Camper in case I need an extra one or in case I head down on the motorcycle and don't want to drag one along.
God Bless!
Aaron
