I talked with a friend the other night for a long time about our trip. He's a reporter for San Angelo Live, but knew him from when we worked together at the paper. He wanted an interview, so we talked about old times, our pecos trip, laughed at people in our past, what's going on with the family, etc... So it didn't surprise me when I saw the story posted today, it was filled with inaccuracies and misquotes. Most not really far off, but not exactly what I said...quotes or not. lol. Main thing was I didn't want it to sound like we were helpless. We weren't. At all. We just needed a ride out of there. Oh well, it is what it is, I guess. Here's the story he wrote....

Mike told me y'all were on the pecos when Mother Nature changed y'all's plans.
I'm am glad you guys made it out OK all the other stuff can be replaced.
Glad you guys are safe to be with your families.
