I have for sale a used tfo bvk 8wt, with rod sock and travel tube. Also included is a used black ross cla #4 with backing and sa saltwater line, as well as a neoprene pouch. Along with that it a grey most cla #4 spare spool with backing and another neoprene carrying pouch. I will also include 2 more lines, royal wulff 8 wt Bermuda shorts triangle taper, and sa tropic express sink tip intermediate line (never used). And to top it off I will throw in a tfo hat (never worn) and 2 tfo stickers. Everything new would cost over $800 easy, selling for $450 or best reasonable offer. Have caught many great fish on this outfit, but Christmas came early for me and I'm getting a new 8wt setup so figured I'd try and pass this along to someone who could put it to good use.

Depending on the conditions of the reel, spare spool, and lines this is a good deal for somebody needing/wanting a very good 8wt rig.

I'd consider it myself if I didn't already have 3 8wt combos.

everything is in great working order. reel has signs of use but mechanically is well taken care of. always left in original reel case, rinsed after every use, wiped down with light coat of oil and drag backed all the way off when put away. the spare is in brand new condition, bought 4-5 months ago, used only a couple times with a 9wt line while I was in between reels for my 9wt, hence the different color so that I could tell what spool had what on it. the sinking line is never used, the triangle taper was used maybe 6-7 trips, always cleaned and dressed after each of those uses and placed on the current box spool where its been for a while. the only reason I didnt like it was because i think its a great line for distance, but I wasnt too happy with its short distance loading. its almost, in my opinion like a bonefish line. this line really launches it out there. and the scientific anglers saltwater line currently on the cla I got in the fall of last year and also always cleaned and dressed after each use and was the primary line used because of the versitility of the line. I figured Id also throw in a few freebies and this is really a good set to get one started and be prepared for any and every type of fishing the coast whether its in the marsh, flats or even jetties. everything you need is here. plus with the case you can take your rod anywhere and not have to worry about damage. it was a great setup and I can assure has a lot of good mojo. and whoever buys it may get lucky and get a couple handtied leaders and flies thrown in as well since im making room for some new inventory.
