Never done coastal duck hunting. Anyone have luck around Christmas bay?

Yes. You will not be the only one out there. Bring a spotlight to shine off other hunters, get there plenty early enough to get your spot, and dont be surprised when someone sets up 80 yards from you anyways.

FYI, due to the nature of duck hunting (easily overpressured areas), it is considerd poor form to "spot name" on the internet. A little searching on any of the forums, or a call to the warden will answer your question with little effort.

Was thinking about hitting this up over the Thanksgiving Weekend. Are there any specific rules for this area? Is it open to the public and do you need the Public Hunting tag?
