DIY Weighted King Duster...

Post by niswanger »

Well, the world is starting to shut down around us again and our July 10th plans to go BTB (Mayan Princess) is now over. I guess if there's a shimmer of hope we'll try again the end of July or first of August.

In the meantime, I've made some DIY weighted King Dusters. So much stuff is OOS now.

Look great.
That Custom king duster design will work.
It will be better if you can stay with 3/4 oz Weight which will allow you to run deep around 10 feet at 3-5 knots.
Hope the last week of July will have better weather for us to BTB. Good luck

Think I'm going to try to make a few of these for next season. Thanks for the video, anything you have learned or changed in the months since?

How does the paint hold up, did you just use spray paint?
