Caught The Big One

Post by rmarkham »

I was fighting a trout on Sunday morning when he threw the hook. Then I preceeded to set the hook again. It came out easily.

The fishing activity was good on Sunday. A couple keepers but a lot of small trout and reds between 8:30 and 11 (Aransas Pass area). I need to figure out where the keepers are hiding. We landed 50 or so with only 2 for the table.

Ducking hunting was blast on Saturday. I love to duck hunt but only get a chance once or twice a year.

Hey Topdog15, I can recall a couple of times in which you were in the same position, crankbait in the back, corky through the pinky nail in the surf, yeah those were some good ones. Like he said man thats a bummer, hope it ok and good luck next trip.
