I live near Mertzon. Fished the S. Concho this weekend and did pretty good.

a lot of San Angelo guys, join the TKF West Texas chapter, most of the locals are in the 'Angelo area....

Look Man I live in Austin and I came all the way to San Angelo just to meet Barnicle Bill and QuakKillz these guys are great you have some awesome fishing partners at your disposal and you should take full advantage of that and join the West Texas Chapter, I did, so why are you still reading, get on it Dude :)

they can join all they want, our "leader" is on the coast, and didnt leave me any powers to add new members...... he'll be back wed guys....sorry for the wait

speaking of LUNKERS,,,,remember when I posted that I wanted to go to Alan Henry....... I got this months Texas Sportsman, and it is in there as a west x bass hotspot, #2 Bud ShareLunker has been taken out of there....looks like I'll be headed north as soon as I can....

no, I had it right, I remeber gas at 89 cents a gallon...and sometimes 68 cents.....

Yet one more I am 20 miles south of town. Springcreek what part of the south did you hi last weekend. I spent almost all day Sunday on it from Christoval south.

I'm back from the coast and everyone that has applied to join the West Texas Chapter has been approved.

If you want to join us in San Angelo, go up to the chapters menu and scroll down to West Texas and apply to join. We'll be planning some outings really soon and have a great group of folks.
