Skeeters getting ya?

Post by Coastal Country »

Notice a few threads where people have complained about the Mosquitoes tearing them up and off does nothing. I got to work skeeters or no skeeters so I got a Shannon's bug tamer jacket.

It dries quick, keeps ya cool 8) AND........No mas skeeters :D :D
Here's one with the hood in place so they can't dine on your ears.

You can get it with or without the leafy camo, the no leaves one might be better for fishing.

For a firearm hunter, that jacket works great, but the jacket might not work well for a bowhunter. That "leafy stuff" hanging off the arms.....might catch a bowstring on full draw. Result, muffed shot or worse..........a wounded animal hit in the wrong place.

Won't work for hunting, but use a little Doc Bronners peppermint soap and eucalyptus soap mixed 50/50 or try putting a little essential oil of both on your clothes. I've had great success. And not that it matters, but you smell clean.

You can get the Walmart/ Academy head net that does the same thing and is great if you are out at night with a head light on too for all bugs.
