Texas Bayou report 3/26/16

Post by jackinayak »

Launched at 8th and Quinn street in Sabine Pass at daylight. High water and it was still coming in and kept coming in until 10 AM. Light winds mild temps and this fisherman did not even see a hint of a fish other than a few jumping mullet.Talked to Mike the crabber and he was having a frustrating day with empty traps due to all the fresh water. Good news...I checked out the Jetty Road condition before heading home and there is a mother load of road material spread...If you know somebody who knows somebody that is responsible for this Please give them our thanks.

There must be some really soft sediment beneath that road since the fill keeps getting packed down.
Seems they need to drive a few short piles and pour some concrete.
