SHKFC Monthly Meeting Feb 16 Bass Pro Pearland

South Houston Kayak Fishing Club is having it's first official club meeting Feb 16 @ 6:30 P.M.

We will be meeting at 6:30 P.M. on the third Thursday of each month at the Pearland Bass Pro restaurant located at 1000 Basspro Dr, Houston, TX 77047.

We will be meeting in the lounge of the restaurant. Buying food is not required but it is encouraged! Come hungry.

February's meeting agenda will include:

A presentation by the club about who we are and the benefits of being a member

A chance for people to become paid members (voting is only allowed by paid members)

Voting on making the club's constitution and bylaws official (visit the site below and review the document before the meeting)

Nominations & voting for vacant club positions

We've decided that this meeting will be purely informational only. We'd like to give people the benefits of being a club member and get people signed up as members before any voting takes place. This will also give members a chance to have some input on the proposed bylaws and policies.

We'll be giving a presentation on the club and give people a chance to ask questions.
