Consider yourself lucky, my first maiden voyage on Town Lake I got attacked by a swan.
I've never had much luck on Town Lake even though there are fish there. I can catch a 30lb redfish, but not a 1lb bass. :lol:

Attacking swans....

man I don't think I have ever been so scared in my life. I came around this bend and this swan was sitting on an island. It looked right at me and took for me. It had me right in its sights and then stopped about 3 feet from me. I almost went overboard.

To this day, I am not a fan of ducks swans....waterfowl.

I like ducks, even had one of the little buggers jump in the kayak with me. It's the male swans I don't like, the females leave you alone.

Techie glad it went well...took my first voyage yesterday as well.

Keep an eye out...I have a sand 140 now...you might find me anywhere around this area in the evenings or on sunday afternoons.
