Enjoy this unique opportunity to learn from some of the best tyers in the country. Bring along your family and introduce them to a lifelong, fulfilling pastime of fly tying and fly fishing.

9:00 - 10:00 am – Geoff Scotty – "Swing It: Flies for Steelhead"
10:00 - 11:00 am – Pat Cohen – “Smallmouth Bass - Behavior, Tactics and Fly Pattern Ideas”
11:00 – Noon - Iron Fly Tyer – Preliminary Round and Judging
11:00 am – 12:30 pm - BBQ Lunch
Noon – 12:30 pm – Iron Fly Tyer Championship Round
12:30 - 1:30 pm – “Catch” Cormier and Larry Offner - – “The Magnificent Seven Panfish Flies”
1:30 - 2:30 pm – Capt. Billy Trimble – “The Blind Chicken”, One of Texas’s Most Productive Redfish Patterns
2:30 - 4:00 pm – Pat Cohen – “My Personal Favorites - Patterns for Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass and Tactics for Using Them”

When: Saturday, February 9th, 2019. Doors open from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm.
Where: Bethany Christian Church, 3223 Westheimer, Houston, Texas 77098, between Buffalo Speedway and Kirby Drive
Admission: Adults: $10.00, Seniors (62+): $8.00, Teens: Youth (12-18): $5.00 or, the Entire Family: $14.00. Children under 12: Free with paid Adult or Senior. BBQ Meal tickets: $12.00
Directions: Traveling on the Southwest Freeway / US 59, Exit Kirby Drive and travel North on Kirby to Westheimer Road (appx. 7/10th mile). Turn Left on Westheimer and go approximately 3/10th mile and see the Bethany Christian Church on your left. Parking is located behind the church.
