ladyfish in the surf

Went to Florida last weekend to visit a friend. Naturally, I had to take the kayaks with me. Bay fishing was slow, so we went out into the surf. We paddled past the color change and immediately started catching big ladyfish. Good times and screamin reels!

This big lady fish are a hoot to catch - or maybe I should say hook up. I don't think I've ever actually landed a big one like those.

Is that Pensacola? I have caught big Ladys there before. They are Poor mans Tarpon! Alot of fun.
